Ron Duncan began his career with MTV networks, where he wrote and produced on MTV’s groundbreaking, popular hip-hop show, YO! MTV RAPS. He also wrote and produced a half-hour special for HBO featuring Mary J. Blige and produced several promos for the station. He studied film production at The New School of Social Research in New York City where he wrote and directed several short films of his own. THE BRONX COUNCIL ON THE ARTS awarded one of his shorts, RED LIGHT GREEN LIGHT, as the best narrative short in the Bronx. Ron currently resides in Los Angeles, he grew up in the Bronx playing basketball, which inspired him to write CROSSOVER X . A story about young man losing a life-long dream to the NBA. Currently, Ron has completed the short film, THE BURNING DREAM, based on the surreal journey of a hit man.
